Goa, April 20 -- Elon Musk has been summoned to Paris as part of a major investigation into alleged misconduct linked to his social media platform X. Authorities are examining serious claims, including the spread of child sexual abuse material and explicit deepfake content. Former X CEO Linda Yaccarino has also been called for voluntary questioning, alongside other employees scheduled to testify as witnesses.

French prosecutors said the interviews aim to give the executives an opportunity to present their side and outline compliance efforts. It is unclear whether Musk or Yaccarino will attend. The probe began in January 2025 and intensified after a search of X's Paris offices in February.
