Goa, June 4 -- At least four patients lost their lives after a massive fire broke out at a private hospital in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district in the early hours of Thursday. The blaze reportedly started in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located on the fifth floor of Prasad Hospital, triggering a major rescue operation.

According to officials, the fire department received an emergency call at around 3:55 am and immediately dispatched firefighting teams to the scene. Rescue personnel worked swiftly to evacuate patients trapped inside the affected ward.

Approximately 20 patients were rescued from the ICU, while the remaining patients admitted to the hospital were shifted to nearby medical facilities for treatment and safety. Authorities fear ...
