Goa, Sept. 14 -- Tarun Tejpal surrendered before the Mapusa Court on Monday in connection with the ongoing legal proceedings against him.

Speaking after his surrender, Tejpal expressed confidence in the judicial process and said the matter was currently before the Supreme Court.

"We are in the Supreme Court and we are sure justice will come. Not to worry," Tejpal said.

His surrender comes as the legal proceedings continue before the higher court.
