Goa, April 20 -- An FIR has been registered at the Vasco Police Station against Gautam Khattar for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the people of Goa by making offensive remarks about St. Francis Xavier.

According to police sources, the case was registered following complaints from citizens and community members who objected to the language used in reference to the revered saint, popularly known as Goencho Saib. The remarks had sparked outrage among sections of the public, leading to protests and calls for legal action.
