Goa, May 23 -- Goa's River Navigation Minister Subhash Phal Dessai has assured the public that ferry boat services across the state will continue uninterrupted despite the ongoing rains.

Speaking to the media, Dessai said that all necessary facilities and safety measures are in place to ensure smooth ferry operations during the monsoon season. He appealed to people not to panic and stated that the authorities are fully prepared to handle weather-related challenges.

The minister also announced that Goa is planning to develop a Kerala-style Water Metro system inspired by the successful model implemented in Kochi.
