Margao, June 24 -- In a heartwarming display of compassion and public service, Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Suraj Kankonkar of the Fatorda Traffic Cell voluntarily donated blood during his personal time to help save the life of a cancer patient in urgent need of treatment.

According to sources, PSI Kankonkar responded promptly after learning of a critical shortage of matching blood required for a patient undergoing emergency medical care. Without hesitation, he stepped forward to donate blood, ensuring that the life-saving procedure could proceed without delay.
