Panaji, Oct. 23 -- Panaji Police have named Rupali Shankhwalkar, wife of prime accused Ajit Shankhwalkar, as a co-accused in the fake Excise Commissioner job scam following the examination of financial transactions.

Fearing arrest, Rupali has reportedly filed an anticipatory bail application before the court, seeking protection from arrest in connection with the case.

The police are examining the financial transactions as part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged job scam.
