Goa, Sept. 23 -- While motorists face fines for traffic violations, concerns have been raised over the safety equipment installed on Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTCL) buses, following footage that allegedly shows fire extinguishers carrying expired service or due-date markings.

According to the report, labels visible on the fire extinguishers show a due date of 25-09-15, along with manufacturing or refill details dating to September 2024.

The footage has raised questions over whether fire extinguishers whose service validity has reportedly lapsed are still being kept on buses used by thousands of passengers across Goa.
