India, March 9 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that the existing taxi aggregator policy will be scrapped once the new Digital Taxi Policy is finalised and implemented in the state.
Responding to a demand made by Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao to scrap the current aggregator policy, Sawant said the policy has already been kept in abeyance for the past eight months.

The Chief Minister clarified that the existing policy will remain on hold until the government completes the process of finalising the new Digital Taxi Policy. Once the new framework is in place, the current aggregator policy will be officially withdrawn.
