Goa, June 11 -- An empty tanker truck veered off the road and became stuck in the muddy roadside area after the driver reportedly lost control while negotiating a sharp turn at Padi in Canacona.

According to the driver, the incident occurred when a four-wheeler approaching from the opposite direction allegedly attempted to overtake another vehicle on the curve, creating a potentially dangerous situation.

In an effort to avoid a head-on collision, the tanker driver said he swerved towards the edge of the road, causing the vehicle to leave the carriageway and become bogged down in the mud.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, and no other vehicles were involved.

The mishap has once again drawn attention to the hazards...
