Goa, Aug. 31 -- An elderly couple's simple homemade meal of parathas, curd and pickle aboard an IndiGo flight has gone viral on social media, prompting a lively debate over personal choice, in-flight etiquette and what passengers should be allowed to do while travelling.

A video of the couple eating the traditional meal was recorded by a fellow passenger and shared online. The footage shows an elderly woman in a saree opening a packet of curd and placing it beside parathas and pickles arranged neatly on a steel plate.
