Goa, June 5 -- Volunteers planted a variety of saplings along the tributary of River Sal at Mandop to promote environmental conservation.

World Environment Day was celebrated by the Earth Keepers Community Group of the Navelim constituency with a plantation drive at the tributary of River Sal in Mandop, Navelim, on Thursday.

As part of the initiative, members of the community group planted various types of saplings along the river tributary, reinforcing their commitment to environmental protection and ecological sustainability.
