Goa, June 16 -- The District Road Safety Committee (DRSC) conducted a joint inspection at the entrance of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, on June 16, beginning at 10:30 a.m., to assess road safety and pedestrian infrastructure in the area.

The inspection focused on the service roads and bus stops opposite the GMC campus, where committee members identified several issues affecting public safety and traffic management. Among the concerns highlighted were illegal stalls encroaching on footpaths, unauthorized parking along service roads, and unsafe electrical installations on poles located adjacent to pedestrian pathways.
