US President Donald Trump has expressed confidence that the United States and India will soon finalize a trade agreement, describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a close friend and highlighting the strong relationship between the two nations.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said he believes ongoing trade negotiations between Washington and New Delhi will lead to a successful deal. "We will get to a deal because I like your prime minister a lot. He is a good friend of mine, and we get along well. We have a good relationship," Trump remarked.
