Goa, June 11 -- A dog that accidentally fell into a well at Castelvaddo in Carona was safely rescued by personnel from the Mapusa Fire and Emergency Services on Thursday.

According to Fire Officer Prashant Shetgaonkar, the department received an emergency call reporting that a dog was trapped inside a well and required immediate assistance. A rescue team was promptly dispatched to the location.

"On reaching the spot, we found the dog sitting in a corner of the well and appearing exhausted. Using ropes, our team carefully lifted the animal to safety. As soon as it was brought out, the dog ran away," Shetgaonkar said.
