Goa, Oct. 27 -- The Directorate of Official Language organised a state-level, one-day workshop on "Basic Konkani Language Proficiency" in Panjim to help job aspirants prepare for upcoming competitive examinations conducted by the Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC). The workshop was inaugurated by Director of Prosecution Poonam Bharne. The free training programme aims to help candidates improve their proficiency in Konkani and overcome language barriers while preparing for state government recruitment examinations, for which knowledge of Konkani is a mandatory requirement.
