Goa, Sept. 1 -- Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Digambar Kamat has dismissed the Congress party's ongoing pothole campaign highlighting poor road conditions across Goa, saying criticism of the government is part of the Opposition's role.

Reacting to the campaign, Kamat said he had also criticised the government when he was in the Opposition. He added that such criticism does not affect him.

Kamat's remarks came as the Congress intensified its campaign to draw attention to potholes and deteriorating road conditions at various locations across the state.
