Goa, Oct. 10 -- YouTuber Dhruv Rathee was detained by Delhi Police from his residence in Gurugram's Sector 56 on Saturday ahead of the proposed Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, according to police sources.

Rathee had travelled to India from Germany earlier this week to participate in the demonstration. He had previously joined the CJP protest in Bengaluru on October 8. His detention comes amid heightened security arrangements in the national capital, where authorities have stepped up preventive measures to stop protesters from gathering at the designated site.
