Goa, Oct. 31 -- Director General of Police (DGP) Alok Kumar has stated that legal and departmental action has already been initiated in connection with the sexual assault case involving a minor against Crime Branch Police Inspector Vikas Deykar.

The case involves allegations of sexual assault against a minor, with the accused police officer serving in the Crime Branch.

Confirming the action taken, DGP Alok Kumar said the necessary legal proceedings and departmental measures had been set in motion in connection with the case.
