Goa, June 2 -- Authorities deploy heavy machinery to remove structures at resort linked to MLA Michael Lobo under court directive.

Authorities on Tuesday commenced the demolition of portions of the Nazri Resort at Naikawaddo in Calangute following a directive issued by the Supreme Court.

Heavy machinery was deployed at the site as officials supervised the demolition process and the removal of structures identified under the court's order. The action was carried out in the presence of government authorities responsible for ensuring compliance with the directive.

The resort has been linked to Calangute MLA Michael Lobo, and the demolition follows legal proceedings concerning the structures covered under the Supreme Court's ruling.
