India, March 30 -- In a major breakthrough, the Delhi Police have arrested a man from Mysuru for allegedly sending fake bomb threat emails to multiple government offices, schools, and courts, triggering widespread panic over the past month.
The accused, identified as Srinivas, was apprehended from his residence in Brindavan Layout, Second Phase, Sixth Cross area of Mysuru, according to police sources on Sunday.
Investigators revealed that Srinivas had been sending a series of hoax emails within short intervals, warning of imminent explosions. The repeated threats caused significant alarm among authorities and the public, prompting a high-level investigation.
