Delhi Monsoon Likely Between June 25 and 30 Despite Delayed Kerala Onset
Goa, June 6 -- Following thunderstorms and showers that brought temporary relief to Delhi-NCR last week, residents are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the southwest monsoon. Although the monsoon reached Kerala on June 4-five days later than the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) initial forecast-it has since advanced steadily across the country, entering Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, most parts of Tamil Nadu, and large sections of the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.
According to the IMD's latest monsoon tracking map, Delhi and neighbouring regions including Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad are expected to witness the onset of the southwest monsoon between June 25 and June 30. The weather system is then likely to progr...
