Margao, Sept. 2 -- A daylight chain-snatching incident was reported near Fabric Costa Ground at Aquem on Wednesday morning.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at around 8.30 am, when a woman's gold chain with a locket was allegedly snatched by a person riding a two-wheeler.

The stolen gold chain and locket are estimated to be worth approximately Rs.3 lakh.

Further details are awaited. Police are expected to investigate the incident and trace the person allegedly involved in the theft.
