Dattagad Residents Allege Garbage Neglect, Cite Rising Dengue Cases and Delayed Civic Action
Goa, June 6 -- Residents of Dattagad have raised concerns over the alleged failure of the local Panchayat to address repeated complaints regarding garbage accumulation, claiming that the neglect has led to unhygienic conditions in the locality.
According to locals, irregular garbage collection has resulted in piles of waste accumulating in the area, with residents alleging that nearly 18 dengue cases have been reported as a consequence of the deteriorating sanitation conditions.
