India, March 24 -- Bacteriological tests conducted by the Directorate of Health Services have revealed contamination in multiple water sources at Prabhu Violeta Building in Dabolim, raising serious public health concerns.
According to officials, samples collected between March 13 and 17 from tap water, borewells, and underground storage systems tested positive for coliform organisms. The analysis recorded contamination levels of 14 MPN (Most Probable Number) per 100 ml, indicating the presence of harmful bacteria.
