Goa, July 9 -- The condition of roads in Curchorem, particularly along the Curchorem-Sanguem stretch, has deteriorated significantly, causing hardship for motorists and two-wheeler riders and raising concerns over commuter safety.

The road is riddled with numerous potholes, leaving very little smooth surface for vehicles to travel safely. Commuters have complained that navigating the stretch has become increasingly difficult, especially during the monsoon season.

Residents have also raised concerns over trenches dug for cable-laying works, alleging that several sections have been left unattended even after the completion of the project. The unfilled trenches have further worsened road conditions and increased the risk of accidents.
