Goa, Aug. 17 -- The deteriorating condition of roads in Curchorem has sparked concern among residents, with large potholes reportedly creating serious hazards for motorists and pedestrians.

Social activist Vishal Noguerio, along with Rocky D'Costa, raised the issue on Monday after a woman reportedly met with an accident and sustained injuries, allegedly due to the poor condition of the road.

The activists claimed that several roads across Curchorem are in a severely damaged state, alleging that motorists are being forced to negotiate deep potholes and uneven stretches on a daily basis.
