Goa, June 27 -- Residents of Cacora in Curchorem intercepted several ten-wheeler trucks transporting soil through internal village roads after repeated spillages allegedly caused a series of accidents involving local commuters.

The agitated residents stopped the trucks and questioned the drivers, alleging that the transportation of soil was being carried out without the necessary permissions. They also expressed concern over the increasing safety risks posed by the movement of heavy vehicles on narrow village roads.
