Goa, Sept. 18 -- The Cuncolim Municipal Council (CMC) has rejected the applica tion submitted by the pro moters of the proposed fish meal plant, seeking a construction licence with in the Cuncolim municipal jurisdiction. CMC Chief Officer Ra jesh Sakhalkar, while com municating the decision, stated that the project was not eligible for the grant of a construction li cence and accordingly re jected the application. The decision followed a detailed site inspec tion and verification of records by the municipal authorities.
