Cuncolim, Oct. 26 -- Cuncolim Police have registered an FIR following a complaint alleging that a minor girl was taken from her lawful guardianship at Takaband, Cuncolim, on October 22.

According to the complaint, the alleged incident took place between 2 pm and 3 pm. The person named in the complaint is Vishal Ghansi, a Cuncolim resident originally from Jharkhand.

Police have registered the case under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 8(2) of the Goa Children's Act.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
