Goa, Aug. 18 -- The Council for Social Justice and Peace (CSJP) and the Catholic Association of Goa (CAG) have submitted a memorandum to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, expressing concerns over the proposed Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) Amendment Bill, 2026.

The organisations warned that the proposed legislation could have significant implications for minority-run institutions and organisations involved in providing essential services to economically disadvantaged sections of society.
