VASCO, June 28 -- A team of Crime Branch police from Ribandar on Saturday conducted a raid at a premises in Vidyanagar Colony, Zuarinagar, as part of an investigation into the suspected illegal storage of petroleum products.

The raid was led by Crime Branch SP Jivba G. Dalvi. During the raid, officials inspected a large enclosed compound where five petroleum tankers were found parked. The tankers were allegedly parked inside the compound in a manner that concealed them from public view and made them not visible from outside the property.

Police sources said the raid was conducted following specific inputs regarding the suspected unauthorised storage and handling of petroleum products at the premises.
