Crime Branch Arrests Two in Porvorim Shooting Case; Six Accused Held So Far
Porvorim, Sept. 16 -- The Goa Crime Branch has arrested two more persons in connection with the Porvorim shooting case, taking the total number of arrests in the case to six.
The accused have been identified as Arpudaraj Anna (49) and Pavan Saur (19). Both were apprehended in Chennai during the investigation into the shooting incident.
According to police, Anna is allegedly the second shooter in the case. He is believed to have acted alongside Babu Ali, who was arrested two days earlier near the Nepal border.
Police have also alleged that Saur was involved in the conspiracy related to the shooting.
