Goa, July 25 -- Mapusa Police have registered a criminal case against a Pune-based contractor and a site engineer following the collapse of an under-construction gallery projection in Dangui Colony, Mapusa, which left six labourers injured. Police have alleged that the accident occurred due to gross negligence and inadequate safety measures at the construction site.The incident took place on July 19 when the gallery projection of the under-construction structure suddenly gave way, trapping and injuring workers engaged in construction activities.
