Congress Leaders Meet Colva Police, Seek Protection and Exclusive Residence for Betalbatim Senior Citizen
Goa, July 11 -- Congress leader Adv. Pratima Betsy Coutinho, along with Lincoln Gomes of the South Goa Congress, visited the Colva Police Station to press for measures aimed at safeguarding the interests of an elderly resident of Betalbatim following the recent assault case.
The delegation met PSI Prashant Bhagat on behalf of Maria D'Souza, a resident of Hounslow, United Kingdom, and daughter of Loyalo D'Souza.
According to the representation submitted to the police, the delegation requested that authorities ensure the removal of Loyalo D'Souza's son, Isidorio Souza, and his wife, Theresa Gonsalves, from the elderly man's residence within a month.
