Goa, May 21 -- A complaint demanding a detailed criminal investigation and re-investigation into the death of Dr. Ketan Prabhu Bhatikar has been submitted to police authorities, raising questions over the circumstances surrounding the incident that was initially projected as a snake bite case.

The complaint alleges inconsistencies related to the events leading to Dr Bhatikar's death and has called for an independent and transparent probe to determine the exact cause of death.
