Goa, Aug. 4 -- A complaint has been filed seeking the registration of an FIR against Rohidas L. Naik, Shrikrishna Haldankar, Tarak Arolkar, Charudatt Panjikar, Avinash Shirodkar and several others over alleged financial and administrative irregularities involving the Gomantak Bhandari Samaj.

The complaint alleges offences including cheating, criminal breach of trust, criminal conspiracy, misrepresentation, misuse of the Gomantak Bhandari Samaj's name, and irregularities in the collection and utilisation of donations. It has urged authorities to initiate criminal proceedings under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
