Goa, Aug. 1 -- State-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) have reduced the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by more than Rs.200 across major cities, providing significant relief to businesses that depend on LPG for daily operations.

The revised prices came into effect on Saturday and are expected to lower operating costs for restaurants, hotels, caterers and other commercial establishments that use LPG extensively for cooking and food preparation.

The reduction is likely to ease the financial burden on the hospitality and food service sectors, which have been grappling with rising operational expenses.
