Goa, June 1 -- Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have increased the prices of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs.42 to Rs.53.50 across various cities with effect from June 1, bringing additional costs for businesses that rely on commercial cooking gas.

The latest revision applies to commercial LPG cylinders commonly used by hotels, restaurants, eateries, and other commercial establishments. The price increase varies from city to city, ranging between Rs.42 and Rs.53.50 per cylinder.

However, in a relief for households, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders used for cooking have remained unchanged. Consumers using subsidised and non-subsidised domestic cooking gas cylinders will continue to pay the existing rates.
