Goa, May 1 -- Despite mounting global pressure due to the ongoing Iran war disrupting energy supplies, the central government has chosen to keep domestic LPG prices unchanged, offering relief to households. However, commercial LPG cylinders (19 kg) have witnessed a steep hike of around Rs 993 on average, significantly impacting businesses.

In Delhi, commercial LPG prices have surged to Rs 3,071.50 from Rs 2,078.50, while in Mumbai, rates have risen from Rs 2,031 to Rs 3,024. This marks the third increase since late February, reflecting sustained pressure from rising global crude oil prices.
