Goa, April 8 -- Residents of Comba in Margao have raised serious concerns over a long-pending sewage issue, warning that they may approach the courts if the matter remains unresolved.
Local resident Ketan Kurtarkar highlighted that the problem has persisted for over a decade despite repeated assurances from authorities. He pointed out that during the tenure of former Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, substantial funds were sanctioned to the Sewerage and Infrastructural Development Corporation of Goa for the installation of a new pipeline network. However, he alleged that proper household connections have still not been provided.
