Goa, Aug. 29 -- Colvale Police have arrested a fourth accused in an alleged drug-smuggling case linked to the Central Jail, Colvale. The latest accused has been identified as Pandurang, a convict lodged at the prison.

Police had earlier arrested GHRDC staff member Asha and inmates Rovina and Yogesh in connection with the case. Sources alleged that the accused were involved in smuggling contraband into the jail premises.

Meanwhile, the Mapusa JMFC court has granted conditional bail to Asha and Rovina. Arguments on Yogesh's bail application have also been completed, with the court reserving the matter for orders.
