Goa, May 16 -- A coconut tree collapsed onto two houses near Milton Marques Circle at Abaxio Wado in Canca, triggering an emergency response from fire and rescue personnel from Mapusa. Officials said the incident occurred suddenly, causing damage to portions of the structures in the area. Sub Officer Shri D. S. Sawant responded to the emergency call along with the rescue team. Fire personnel were seen clearing the fallen tree and ensuring the area was safe for residents. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident despite the tree crashing onto the houses.
