Goa, Nov. 2 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will distribute financial assistance to 106 eligible claimants impacted by the severe fire at Vasco's New Municipal Market on Monday, November 2. The initiative covers losses across 147 affected shops following a detailed claim scrutiny. The beneficiary group includes 90 traders suffering losses to general merchandise and stock, 15 stationary handcart vendors, and one merchant who lost perishable inventory. This targeted relief aims to support local vendors as they recover from the devastating blaze.
