Goa, May 1 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that Goa is witnessing a major push towards financial literacy, especially in rural regions. Addressing the Future Wealth Goa Conclave 2026, he revealed that 807 rural bank branches are actively conducting awareness initiatives. Around 966 financial literacy camps have already been organised across the state to educate citizens on safe banking practices, avoiding digital fraud, and effectively using mobile banking services. The campaign focuses on equipping people with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions.
