Goa, April 20 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has cautioned that speakers from outside the state should refrain from making remarks that could disturb communal harmony in Goa.
Addressing the ongoing controversy, Sawant stated that organisers of public events must take responsibility to ensure that such incidents do not occur. He emphasised the need for organisers to properly brief invited speakers in advance to avoid statements that may hurt sentiments or create divisions.
The Chief Minister also confirmed that an FIR has already been registered against Gautam Khattar in connection with the matter and assured that strict action will be taken as per the law.
