While the CJP plans its protest likely at Azad Maidan, political reactions are divided. The Congress has organized separate state-wide protests, and MNS chief Raj Thackeray announced a distinct demonstration with the Shiv Sena (UBT) on October 4, though UBT MLA Aaditya Thackeray has backed the CJP's October 2 call.
