Goa, Oct. 10 -- Union Minister Chirag Paswan has criticised Opposition parties over their protests against the Election Commission, saying restrictions on transport and road movement cannot stop India's youth.

Speaking amid heightened security in Delhi ahead of the Cockroach Janata Party's (CJP) protest, Paswan said repeatedly bringing the national capital to a standstill was not appropriate.

His remarks came after students raised concerns over train cancellations, metro disruptions and the heavy deployment of security personnel.

"These are the youth of India; no one can stop them," Paswan said, arguing that the Opposition was spreading false narratives and engaging in politics rather than finding solutions.
