Centre Revises Export Duty on Petrol, Diesel and ATF from June 1
Goa, May 31 -- The Central government has revised export duties on petrol, diesel and aviation turbine fuel (ATF), with the new rates coming into effect from June 1. The move is part of the government's regular review mechanism aimed at balancing domestic fuel availability with global energy market conditions.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, export duty has been set at Rs.1.5 per litre on petrol, Rs.13.5 per litre on diesel and Rs.9.5 per litre on ATF. The rates are reviewed every fortnight and are linked to average international crude oil prices.
