India, March 23 -- The Goa government has announced the first phase of Census 2027, which will be conducted across the state from April 16 to May 15, 2026. This phase will focus on house listing and the collection of housing-related data, including details about household structure, amenities, assets, and overall living conditions. Officials said the exercise aims to create a comprehensive database to better understand socio-economic conditions and support future policy planning.
